Room/Space Photos: Photos of the customer's room or space uploaded to visualize products in their space
Room Refresh Results: Generated images showing the customer's room or space with the product placed in it
Customer Identifiers: Shopify customer ID (if logged in) or guest session ID (if browsing as guest)
Product Information: Product IDs, titles, handles, variant information, and product images used for room refresh
Usage Data: Room refresh requests, timestamps, and user feedback
Technical Data: User agent strings and browser information (for compatibility and debugging purposes)

4.1 Storage Locations

Your data is stored using the following services:

PostgreSQL Database: Metadata, customer identifiers, product settings, and usage data
Vercel Blob Storage: Room/space photos and room refresh result images
Sentry: Error logs and diagnostic information (with sensitive data removed)

4.2 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including:

Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS
Secure authentication and access controls
Regular security assessments and updates
Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
Automatic removal of sensitive data from error logs

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for the following periods:

Room/Space Photos: Retained for 60 days after the customer's last activity, then automatically deleted
Room Refresh Results: Retained for 30 days from creation, then automatically deleted
Customer Identifiers and Activity Data: Retained for 60 days after last activity, then automatically deleted
Store Owner Data: Retained for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and accounting purposes
Error Logs: Retained according to Sentry's retention policies (typically 90 days)

When you uninstall the app, we will delete your store's data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

6.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Vercel: For hosting, image storage (Vercel Blob), and infrastructure services
Sentry: For error monitoring and diagnostic services (sensitive data is removed before transmission)
Google Generative AI: For processing room refresh image generation (images are processed but not stored by Google)
Shopify: For app platform services, authentication, and data access through Shopify APIs

These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

6.2 Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

With your explicit consent
To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests
